Abortion provider BPAS have launched an illegal ‘DIY’ abortion service in Northern Ireland.
Under the current law in Northern Ireland, the first abortion pill must be taken in a GP surgery, clinic or hospital under medical supervision.
‘DIY’ home abortions involve women performing their own abortions, by taking both abortion pills by themselves, without a doctor or other medical professional present, meaning they will be left to pass their unborn child at home without direct medical supervision.
Please urgently contact your MLAs, MP and Minister of Health, Robin Swann, asking them to shut down this illegal ‘DIY’ abortion service as soon as possible.
