Act now to stop ‘DIY’ abortion services being made permanent in Scotland

The Scottish Government is currently deciding on whether to make the temporary measure allowing ‘DIY’ home abortions in Scotland permanent.
Since home abortions were temporarily allowed, as has been reported extensively in the media, a number of significant problems have put the lives and health of many women in danger (you can read more about these significant problems here). It is vital that the Scottish Government does not give into pressure from the abortion lobby, led by UK’s largest abortion providers, and make ‘DIY’ home abortions permanent.
Please write to your MSPs to ask them to write to the Minister for Public Health Mairi Gougeon MSP laying out the serious dangers with ‘DIY’ home abortions, and ask her to ensure that the temporary order allowing ‘DIY’ home abortion is revoked as soon as possible and not made permanent.
