Scottish Parliament petition regarding disability abortion

We wanted to let you know that Dr Calum MacKellar from the Scottish Council on Human Bioethics has launched a Scottish Parliament petition regarding disability abortion.

The petition calls for the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Government to change abortion law so that abortion is no longer legal right through to birth in cases when a baby has a disability.

As you are likely aware, abortion is currently legal right up to birth in Scotland if a baby has a disability and this includes Down’s syndrome, cleft lip and club foot.

Please take action now and click the button below to sign the petition.
