A few days ago, we updated you about the two assisted suicide Bills that supporters like you helped to stop – and now we have the opportunity to make those victories last.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters since then, we have now reached 63% of the £199,250 target in our appeal.
That is a real encouragement.
Supporters have already given an incredible £125,525.
But we are aiming to raise a further £73,725 by midnight this Sunday.
That gap matters, because it is really important that we don’t wait until the assisted suicide lobby brings forward another assisted suicide Bill.
Now is the moment to act, as we have a window of opportunity to build on the momentum from the defeat of these assisted suicide Bills and make these victories last. If we succeed, many thousands of vulnerable people will be protected from having their lives ended under assisted suicide laws in the years to come.
