On Wednesday 30 March, MPs will be asked to vote on an amendment, added to the Health and Care Bill in the House of Lords, which would make permanent the ‘DIY’ at-home abortion measures that were introduced on a temporary basis at the start of the pandemic.

This would overturn the Government’s decision to end ‘DIY’ at-home abortion and force the Government to make these dangerous schemes available permanently.

This would be the largest change to abortion legislation since 1967 – it would likely lead to the loss of many more lives to abortion along with having a strong negative impact on the physical and emotional health of women.

Since home abortions have been temporarily allowed, a number of significant problems have put the lives and health of many women in danger, as has been reported extensively in the media (you can read more about these significant problems here).

Please enter your postcode in the box above to send an email to your local MP asking them to vote against the ‘DIY’ at-home abortion amendment on Wednesday. It is vital that as many MPs as possible oppose this amendment.
