On Thursday 4 July there will be a backbench business debate in Parliament on assisted suicide. This has been brought forward by MPs aligned with the assisted suicide lobby.
The debate is not legislative, there is no draft law under consideration but assisted suicide advocates hope that this debate might suggest a change in the mood of the House since the Marris assisted suicide Bill was defeated 330-118 in 2015.
It is important that a number of MPs turn up at the debate and speak out against proposals to introduce assisted suicide. Please click the link below to write to your MP asking them to attend the debate and to speak against assisted suicide.
