Little Fighters campaign – we are 94% of the way there
We also wanted to update you on the Little Fighters campaign to support Caroline Ansell’s landmark amendment to the Government’s flagship Criminal Justice Bill to lower the abortion time limit from 24 to 22 weeks.
The amendment has now been signed by 40 MPs and you may have seen some of the positive coverage around the proposed law change in mainstream media outlets.
The Government has delayed the report stage of the Criminal Justice Bill, the stage at which the amendment will be debated and voted on. This means that we have more time to persuade more MPs to vote in support of the law change.
This is where you can help.
We have printed 1,000,000 postcards for people to send to their MPs asking them to vote in support of the 22-week limit amendment.
Thanks to the help of supporters like you around the country, an incredible 941,227 or 94% of these have been distributed!
We now need to get the final 58,773 postcards out to communities throughout the UK.
