This Tuesday (7 March), MPs will debate and vote on the buffer zone clause in the Public Order Bill.
As you will likely recall, when the Public Order Bill made its way through the House of Commons, a clause was added to introduce mandatory buffer zones around all abortion facilities nationwide. This clause has since been further amended in the House of Lords but the most concerning harms still very much remain.
The buffer zone clause will now be debated and voted on in the House of Commons on Tuesday when MPs will consider the amendments that were made to the Public Order Bill in the House of Lords.
