Right To life campaigns for the right to life of all human beings. Those members of the human family whose rights are most often denied or under threat are those who are most vulnerable, most especially the very young (such as unborn children), the disabled, the poor, and the very old or sick.
The issues with which we deal therefore, are principally bioethical and engage with vulnerable people at the beginning of life (abortion, population control, and the treatment of embryonic humans in scientific research and medical practice), and the end of life (assisted suicide, and euthanasia).
The word ‘abortion’ describes any medical procedure that ends a pregnancy, through the deliberate killing of an unborn child.
Human Embryo in Science & Medicine
Some bad forms of scientific research and medical practice involve the destruction of human beings when they are at their embryonic stage of development.
Assisted Suicide is the support and immediate aid of another person to cause their own death.
Euthanasia is the direct killing of a patient by a Doctor or other medical professional.
Population Control policies are attempts by Government to reduce or stabilise the human population of a country, or the world more largely.
