Some forms of scientific research and medical practice involve the destruction of human beings when they are at their embryonic stage of development.
Partly due to the disregard of the rights of unborn children in the institution of abortion, scientific research and medical practice has often been undertaken which involves the destruction of human beings when they are at their embryonic stage of development.
Such practices constitute an unethical reduction of some vulnerable human beings to mere instruments on which scientific research might be undertaken, and ultimately leads to the total denial of their right to life. Similarly, medical practices are sometimes undertaken whereby human beings are created for the very purpose of their destruction in the accomplishment of medical practice that will benefit others. Both forms of embryo-destructive practice are unethical, and contravene the dignity of human beings.
Right To Life UK campaigns for the abolition of such activities, and encourages ethical research (e.g. adult stem cell research) and medical practice that will benefit humanity without doing so at the expense of the most vulnerable of human beings.
